I try to hold a couple workshops per month in Santa Cruz, CA to teach all-levels block printmaking. In this group practice, I share my techniques for relief block printmaking by hand:

 

• transfer a drawing into a block

• carving the block

• inking the block

• pulling prints from the block 

• either art prints or cards

• Level 1 or Level 2 options

 This is typically a 3-hour session and all supplies are provided for up to 15 people. Duration of workshop depends on materials used (soft rubber takes less time than a firmer material such as linoleum).
