"Wilder Trail" linoprint is a whimsy capture of the trails in Wilder Ranch State Park and the rolling hills above it in the Santa Cruz Mountains. These are the trails that I mountain Bike regularly, rolling through the redwoods and finishing with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
Each print was made from multiple blocks printed on one page. For the background colors, the block was cut into smaller shapes and each shape assigned a custom mixed ink. After that dried I went over with a solid keyblock color, so it is a meticulous job to plan and line up each layer.
